Dr Joyanne Mathew

MD, PhD Pharm, BSc (Hons)

After a career as a research scientist, Joyanne completed her medical degree at UWA in 2017. She has worked at Royal Perth, Midland, Armadale and Bentley hospitals. Joyanne is currently completing her General Practice training and is interested in all aspects of General Practice.

Outside of work, Joyanne enjoys listening to music while driving her children around.

Dr Carly Penfound

Dr Carly Penfound qualified in the UK in 2007.  She moved to Australia in 2010 and has worked as an emergency doctor and in various other medical roles within the hospital setting giving her a broad and balanced background for her work as a GP. 

She lives locally within the Swan Valley region with her husband and 2 young children. She loves this area and feels fortunate to bring up her children here. She is passionate about her work and strives to ensure the best care for all her patients. 

Her specialist interests include;

– Chronic disease

– Health assessments 

– Diabetes

– Women’s health

– Geriatrics

– Adult and Paediatric Emergency Medicine 

– Paediatrics 

Dr Zee Wong


Dr Zee Wong graduated from University of Tasmania in 2011. Since moving to Western Australia, he gained a broad range of experience in hospitals throughout Western Australia before completing his training as a GP.

Zee enjoys all aspect of family medicine and has an interest preventative medicine, management of chronic diseases, cardiovascular disease prevention, and skin cancers.

Dr David Hoffman

Dr Hoffman has been a GP at North Street Medical Centre since 2018. He was previously at Bassendean Total Health Clinic, City Mental Health Clinic, Perth Street Doctor (Perth), Centrepoint Medical Centre, Ellenbrook Medical Centre and Toodyay Medical Centre.

David has a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is also a Member of the College of GPs Ireland. He has completed the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Postgraduate Education , holds a Diploma of Child Health and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of WA Medical School.

He graduated from the University of Western Australia M.B, B.S., and also practiced law in WA for 20 years after graduating B.Juris (Hons 2B) & LL.B, 1965 – 1976 from UWA.

Dr Hoffman works most Mondays, all day Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Dr Richard Martin

MBBS, Dip. Child Health WA, B.Sc Agr

A family oriented person, he loves gardening, nature, bushwalking and music. Originally a background in horticulture & farming, graduated from UWA as a doctor in 2005.

He has genuine interest in helping people and thought he could make a difference as a GP.

Dr Harinder Paul

MBBS, MS (Gen Surgery), B.Sc, D.Pharm, AMC, FRACGP

Harinder is enthusiastic about and committed to training and supervising medical students and junior doctors.

Dr Toni Craft


Dr Craft has been in general practice since 1991, originally in the UK.

She enjoys the variety of the work, the interesting people she gets to meet and has been able to work within general practice whilst bringing up her kids.

Dr Birgitta Wypych


Graduated from medical school at UWA. Birgitta started work as a GP in 1990 after spending some time at PMH. Has special interest in paediatrics and counselling. She loves gardening, bushwalking and mountain biking.

Dr Kesh Saverimutto


Kesh originally joined us in 2014.

She has an interest in all aspects of family medicine including chronic disease and children and womens’ health.

She loves cooking (and eating!) and spending time with her family and son.

Dr Eboney Staker


Eboney started with us as a GP Registrar. She is now a full time GP with us at North Street and a valued team member.
